Ring Doorbell Live View Not Working

Just purchased the ring doorbell 2 on the firt day of issue and aside from 1 2 days of it working it continually fails to activate on live view.

Low and behold there was a ring update on 6 8. But as others have mentioned i would prefer live view worked so i can see in real time. My phone is a galaxy note 10 5g. However if something happens the video window will pop into the center of your screen to bring the matter to your attention.
