My wife and i wanted to add 25 classic gray to 75 weather oak.
Red oak weathered oak and classic gray stain.
Weathered oak has a hint of gray to it but not much.
My white oak floors are turning out lovely perfect light greige color.
But either one cant go wrong.
Weathered oak looks too unfinished.
If you want a slightly deeper greige use 1 2 classic grey and 1 2 weathered oak.
Use 1 2 country white 1 4 classic grey 1 4 weathered oak.
Dark walnut 2716.
This stain also took two heavy coats for the color to be deep enough for me to really get a sense of the color but it s still a bit on the light side.
Special walnut and classic grey 25 75 was beautiful but still had a little too much red showing.
Every single piece of wood took on a gray hue including the red oak.
If you re wanting to go slightly darker than the pickled oak or wanting stain with hints of brown and gray you should probably give weathered oak a try.
This makes a light floor.
The grey combats the yellow tannin pull from white oak.
Classic gray and jacobean was beautiful with the grey lines and brown but still a little too dark used 50 50.
This classic gray stain creates.
